We designed an exclusive apartment on the Danube waterfront, which includes a unique element - three meters high electricallly driven sliding wall separated the rooms. After opening the apartment of size 70 m² gets a large 50 m² living room.
We subordinated the layout disposition to the main added value of the location - view of the Danube. In spite of a high-tech appearance we maintained the daytime and night time zones of the interior. After pushing the wall away both zones will melt into one offering huge space with a perfect view of the Danube.
The dominant element of the space is the electrically controlled sliding partition made of the same material as the built-in furniture and looking as part of it, when open. The sliding partition of such size had no parallel in apartment interiors and the selection procedure for the contractor took more than 6 months.
